‘We still can’t believe our luck’: Pregnant Sylvia Jeffreys and husband Peter Stefanovic celebrate son Oscar’s first birthday with adorable party
Sylvia Jeffreys and Peter Stefanovic became parents for the first time last year.
And on Sunday, the doting parents celebrated their son Oscar’s first birthday.
‘Our sweet, spirited, determined Oscar Hamilton is ONE today and we still can’t believe our luck,’ Sylvia, 34, captioned a series of images from the day with Pete, 39.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Sylvia documented the special occasion held with family and friends in Sydney over the weekend.
‘We love you more than we ever knew we were capable of. May you continue to squeeze every drop out of this big, beautiful life,’ she continued.
Joking about the amount of photos taken of Oscae with his blue cake, the Nine star concluded: ‘One day your proud, overbearing parents will let you eat cake in peace. But not today.’

Joining in on the celebrations was Pete’s brother Karl Stefanovic and mother Jenny, as well as Sylvia’s mother Janine Jeffreys.
Karl’s wife Jasmine (nee Yarbrough) and their nine-month old daughter Harper were also in attendance for the family fun day.
Jasmine commented on the post: ‘These are such great shots!! Happy 1st birthday to our special Oscy.’

In August, six months early, Sylvia had already started practising her baking skills to ensure she created the perfect first birthday cake for him.
The doting mother revealed at the time she has chosen the number-one shapes cake from the Australian Women’s Weekly Children’s Birthday Cake Book.
Things didn’t quite go to plan during her first attempts, with the TV presenter hilariously revealing the mission was an epic fail on Today Extra.
Luckily for Sylvia, the cake turned out perfectly over the weekend when it came to Oscar’s big day.
