Princess Maria Anunciata of Liechtenstein married business tycoon Emanuele Mussini over the weekend

Princess Maria Anunciata of Liechtenstein is the latest European royal to tie the knot this year.

The heiress, 36, who is the daughter of Princess Margaretha of Luxembourg and Prince Nikolaus of Liechtenstein, married her entrepreneur boyfriend Emanuele Musini in a small civil ceremony at the Villa della Tenuta di Fassia near Gubbio on June 26.

Tatler reported the couple are set to have a bigger, religious ceremony in Vienna later this year.

Maria Anunciata, who is an accomplished curator,  has staged international exhibitions in Italy, France and the US.

Emanuele, is the co-founder and CEO of Pillo Health, a home health start-up, located in Boston.

In a picture shared on Instagram by a royal fan, Maria Anunciata could be seen wearing a white dress with balloon sleeves as she and her husband signed the wedding registry at Villa della Tenuta di Fassia.

The farmhouse marries rustic charms with agricultural tourism.

The bride looked ethereal in delicate dress with a fitted waist and a sweetheart neckline.

Her groom looked handsome in a dark grey suit with a pink tie.

The couple looked delighted as they embraced, preparing to sign the register to make their union official.

They have been dating for several years, appearing together in pictures at Maria Anunciata’s family functions since 2017.

Maria Anunciata is member to not only one, but two royal families, being the granddaughter of the late Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg and Joséphine-Charlotte of Belgium on her mother’s side.

In spite of her grand upbringing and royal ties, the 36-year-old has built a career for herself as a respected curator for museums.

She worked for the Parisian art publishing house Cahier d’Art, which is renowned for its contemporary art periodical La Revue.

In 2016, she worked on the Picasso retrospective which marked the 100th anniversary of the painter and Jean Cocteau’s trip to Rome and Naples with the Ballets Russes.

After proving herself by working for giants of the art world, Maria Anunciata is now working on independent projects and spends her time between New York and Paris.

She has two younger siblings, Princess Maria-Astrid and Prince Josef-Emmanuel.

Her father Nikolaus, is 15th in line for the Liechtenstein throne, while her brother is 16th in line.

Josef-Emmanuel, 31, is often listed as one of Europe’s most illegible bachelors.

He moved to the UK at a young age to attend The Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, and after graduation he joined the Irish Guard.

Josef was quickly promoted to Lieutenant, aged just 21, and was selected to present the Queen with the flag of his regiment at the 2010 Trooping the Colour.

He was joined after the ceremony by his parents and his two sisters Princess Maria-Anunciata and Princess Marie-Astrid.

The regiment has a strong connection to the 31-year-old, since his grandfather, Grand Duke Jean served with the group as a Lieutenant in the Second World War.

Grand Duke Jean had volunteered with the British Army after his royal family fled Nazi occupation of Luxembourg.

Maria Anunciata’s beau, Emanuele, founded Pillo Health, a company which aims to bring Artificial Intelligence into the health habits of the American home.

His company, which registers a reported $3.8 million (£2.7 million) a year, is based in Boston.
