Rapper who filmed Holby City actor’s daughter as she died of overdose grins in Instagram picture

A rapper who was jailed after filming the daughter of a Holby City actor dying from a party drugs overdose has been pictured grinning in his first Instagram picture after being released from jail.

Drug dealer Ceon Broughton, 31, supplied John Michie’s daughter Louella Fletcher-Michie with the hallucinogenic 2-CP at Bestival in Dorset in 2017.

Now, Broughton of Enfield, North London, has been seen on a friend’s Instagram for the first time since his release from prison after his eight-year sentence was overturned.

The picture, which has since been deleted, was captioned with the words: ‘Reunited with my actual twin. Theres [sic] no feeling so great.’

A fellow rapper from London, known as ‘Milkavelli’, posted a picture of the two of them together holding a lighter, which has since been deleted.

According to The Sun, the friend captioned it with the words: ‘Reunited with my actual twin. Theres [sic] no feeling so great.’

He is also thought to have been pictured on a scooter on another friend’s post.

The rapper had originally been convicted after he shot harrowing footage on his mobile phone for six hours of his younger girlfriend, Louella, overdosing at Bestival, as she screamed ‘This ain’t acid. I was not expecting this’.

She had also repeatedly shouted for him to call her mum and when her parents were phoned the sound of their daughter overdosing was so harrowing they jumped in their car and rushed from London to Dorset but tragically arrived too late.

Miss Fletcher-Michie was found dead in woods at the edge of the festival site at Lulworth Castle on the morning of her 25th birthday on September 11, 2017.

Jurors were told that instead of phoning 999, Broughton stayed in the secluded wooded area with Louella.

Broughton, who raps under the stage name CEONRPG, was convicted in March 2019 of manslaughter by gross negligence and jailed for eight years and six months.

However, he walked free on August 18 after a Court of Appeal judge ruled prosecutors failed to prove Louella could have lived if he had called for help.

The ruling was described as a ‘kick in the teeth’ which had added to Louella’s family’s continued agony over her death and they said Louella has been ‘denied justice’.

The videos of Louella’s overdose had appalled Holby City star John Michie, 64, and wife Carol, who had welcomed Broughton into their home and believed him innocent in the hours after their daughter’s death.

Speaking from the witness box at the trial, John Michie said: ‘I think Louella loved Ceon. I’m not sure he loved her.

‘I don’t know how you could ever say you loved someone if you left them to die in front of you.’

Broughton previously admitted supplying drugs to Miss Fletcher-Michie at Glastonbury festival, in June 2017, and was in breach of a suspended prison sentence imposed for possessing a lock knife and a Stanley knife blade.

Prosecutors told jurors during his trial that Broughton failed to take ‘reasonable’ steps to seek medical help for Miss Fletcher-Michie.

They claimed he avoided going for help because ‘didn’t want to be arrested’ while on a suspended sentence.
