Rebel Wilson shows off her slimmed-down figure on a hike in Los Angeles after losing an incredible 18kg

Rebel Wilson has dedicated herself to getting fit this year. 

And on Friday, the Australian actress showed off her slimmed-down figure while out on a hike in Los Angeles.

The 40-year-old posted a photo of herself on Instagram, drawing attention to her trim body in a white T-shirt with Disney emblazoned across the front.

Rebel wore black leggings, and styled her blonde locks out.

Despite having broken a sweat, the Pitch Perfect star drew attention to a flawless and radiant visage.   

The photo attracted plenty of attention, including her personal trainer Jono Castano Acero, who commented: ‘Looking gooodddd’. 

Rebel revealed in May that she was trying to get down to her goal weight of 75kg (165lbs or 11.8 stone).

According to People last month, Rebel’s remarkable transformation is partially down to following the Mayr Method diet plan.

‘It’s an approach that eliminates food intolerances, reduces sugar, encourages eating whole foods slowly, boosts the immune system and reduces inflammation,’ a source said.

‘She exercises with a personal trainer up to six times a week, goes on walks and is trying to up her protein intake nutritionally.’

Rebel has shed an incredible 18kg (40lbs or 2.8 stone) since kicking off her ‘year of health’.

‘Okay so for me 2020 is going to be called “The Year of Health”,’ she vowed in an Instagram post in January. 

‘I put on the athleisure and went out for a walk, deliberately hydrating on the couch right now and trying to avoid the sugar and junk food which is going to be hard after the holidays I’ve just had, but I’m going to do it!’
