Ricki-Lee Coulter has admitted that lockdown has been tough on her marriage.

‘Yeah, look, as time goes on… I’m starting to resent him a little bit,’ she laughed.

Starting to take a toll: Ricki-Lee Coulter has admitted that lockdown has been tough on her marriage

The Last Night singer explained that she was still discovering things about her spouse, and realised just how different they are.

‘I’ve realised in iso that the guy never shuts up, he just talks and talks and talks,’ she added.

‘I’m the kind of person that can literally sit in a room and stare at a wall and not think of anything for 10 minutes. I live in a constant state of meditation.

‘This guy, his brain is just the complete opposite, it’s just going over and over.’

She also revealed he never seems to get tired, with her energetic husband apparently never needing to rest.

‘He’ll be like, “Let’s go for a run.” We’d go for a run, and I’m like, “Cool. Hopefully he’ll go and have a nap.” No,’ she continued.

Speaking out: 'I've realised in iso that the guy never shuts up, he just talks and talks and talks,' she added

‘Two hours later, “Do you want to go for a walk?” No, I don’t want to go for a walk. I want to sit on the toilet with my phone for half an hour…’

Ricki-Lee then took a deep breath and added: ‘Ooh, sorry. I can’t believe I just aired all that! It’s a lot of frustration, guys… It’s great because he’s not here.’

She then tried to clarify her remarks, and claimed that while she loves him, she was in need of some space.

'I do really love him. He's a good guy, but maybe go and stay in a hotel or something,' she added

In a post on Instagram back in April, Ricki-Lee confessed she was ‘annoying the s**t’ out of her husband, who also acts as her manager.

‘So happy I’ve got this guy to spend all this time with… annoying the s**t out of him every day is the highlight of my life,’ she wrote at the time.
