Rihanna shows off her quirky sense of style in eye-catching red tie-dye coat

She is currently dating rapper A$AP Rocky. 

But Rihanna made a solo appearance as she stepped out for a late night dinner with her family at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on Friday.

The singer, 33, showed off her quirky sense of style in a red, yellow and black tie-dye fur coat as she headed into the swanky eatery.

Underneath she flashed a glimpse of her taut midriff in a striped cropped jumper which she teamed with brown PVC flared trousers.

She accessorised her going-out ensemble with a statement zebra print bucket hat and wore huge grey framed sunglasses on her face.

She finished off the look with white leather heels and opted for a glamorous slick of red lipstick for the night out. 

Her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, did not appear to be present during the meal, but the pair were seen attending a private party together at West Hollywood hotspot Delilah earlier this week. 

Back in December, People reported that the photogenic twosome have been ‘inseparable’ as they are ‘very into’ each other.

A source told the publication: ‘They’ve been inseparable the past few weeks. It’s a new relationship, but they both seem very into it.’  

‘They’ve always seemed to have a great time together. They have a lot in common.’

‘They both are very much about helping out in the communities where they grew up,’ added the source. ‘A$AP is generous, and so is Rihanna,’ said the insider. ‘A$AP is known for being a great guy.’

Us Weekly followed up by stating that A$AP has been very into Rihanna for ‘years’ as he constantly tried to get her to date him. 

Rocky – whose real name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers – was ‘was always the instigator’ in their ‘flirtatious connection,’ the source added.

In February of last year, a source told Us claimed they were dating but they were not seen out together much until the summer.

‘Things changed over the summer,’ the insider added. ‘They’ve been together ever since.’

The two first worked together in 2012 on her song Cockiness. Then the next year they toured together.  

And last year, he worked on her Fenty skin campaign; she was newly single as last January she split from her billionaire boyfriend of three years, Hassan Jameel. 

While it has been five years since Rihanna last released any music – her 2016 album Anti – the star has enjoyed phenomenal success in more recent years with her Fenty Beauty cosmetics line and Savage x Fenty lingerie collection.

However, the Umbrella hitmaker last month teased that she may release ‘just one’ track, as her devoted fans continue to request new music from the star.

Her ninth studio album, R9, appears to have been hit with long-running delays and is expected to be heavily influenced by her love of reggae and dancehall.

She told Entertainment Tonight in July: ‘I am always working on music and when I am ready to put it out in the way that I feel fit, it’s gonna come out.

‘You’re not going to be disappointed when it happens. It’s going to be worth it. I’m not just gonna put it out just because people are waiting. It’s taken this long, I’m gonna make it worth it.’ 

It recently emerged that Rihanna, real name Robyn Fenty, splashed out $13.8 million on a seven-bedroom mansion in Beverly Hills, according to Dirt.

Built in the 1930s the home’s previous owners include Mary Sheldon whose father Sidney Sheldon created I Dream Of Jeannie.

Daniel Starr paid Mary $4.3 million for the property and then remodelled the place in a process documented on the Bravo reality show Million Dollar Listing.

He then sued the construction companies and contractors involved in the renovations, The Blast reported in 2019.

Although he listed the property for $15 million Rihanna’s allegedly off-market purchase cost her more than a million dollars less than that.
