Samantha Armytage calls herself a ‘Karen’ as she demands a ‘full refund’ for having a rotten year in 2020

Samantha Armytage has written a ‘review’ of 2020 – and she’s not pleased.

In her column for Stellar Magazine, the 44-year-old called herself a ‘Karen’ and demanded ‘a full refund for having a rotten year. 

The Sunrise host wrote: ‘At the beginning of this year, I paid (in full) my membership to the human race for 2020. I feel the past 12 months have not lived up the promises made in the brochure of life.’

Sam went on to complain that she was unable to dine out or attend football matches. 

‘As I purchased the Premium package, I was promised dining at the cafe or restaurant of my choice.

‘I was guaranteed a seat in the stadium for the Finals. I was also assured priority boarding on the plane. None of these were delivered.’

In conclusion, she added: ‘I feel let down by my membership in 2020 as I’ve missed out on a lot of wonderful experiences’. 

It was a particularly tough year for Samantha, who lost her mother Libby in November. 

The TV star also claimed she was ‘dumped’ by her agent Nick Fordham, just one day after the tragic death of her mother.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Nick’s talent management group The Fordham Company ended their working relationship with the star the day after her mother died on November 3rd.

The Sunrise host told the publication: ‘Out of the blue Nick dumped me from his management company the day after my mother died.’

She added: ‘As you can imagine, this has been a harrowing time for me. This hasn’t made it any easier.’
