After spending weeks in self-isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic, Sam Worthington is looking like a new man.
The Australian actor, 44, debuted an unkempt new look on Monday as he and wife Lara Bingle, 33, took their children to a playground in Beverly Hills, California on Monday.
Looking worlds away from his well-groomed Avatar days, the hunk appeared almost unrecognisable with a thick, scruffy beard and long hair tied into a messy bun.

Sam dressed for comfort in a long-sleeve blue top, black trousers and sneakers.
He slung a camouflage-print backpack over his chest, and completed his look with a black baseball cap.
Abiding by local coronavirus restrictions, Sam dutifully covered his face – and a fair portion of his voluminous beard – with a blue medical mask.

Meanwhile, model Lara paraded her slender pins in black leggings and a matching sweatshirt as she carried her family dog to the park.
Unlike her husband, the blonde was groomed to perfection, sporting a slicked-back bun and a pair of stylish acetate sunglasses.
She accessorised her look with a brown leather tote bag and black face mask.

The outing comes after the pair secretly welcomed their third child, a boy, in June.
Lara and Sam, who are already parents to sons Rocket, four, and Racer, two, are yet to release the name of their youngest child.
Announcing her pregnancy in November 2019, Lara told Vogue Australia: ‘I’m having a boy, early next year. It’s my third boy, and we’re all very excited and very happy.
‘I think any addition brings joy and happiness to the family, but more so when you can share it with the other boys. It’s such a boy’s club in my house!’
Lara and Sam began dating in 2013 and married in secret a year later.
