And Samantha Armytage, 44, has now added another feather to her cap by starring in a new book about dogs alongside her beloved Labrador Banjo.
On Wednesday, Australian photo-journalist Suzanne Stevenson photographer announced that Samantha and Banjo will appear in her upcoming photography book, Country Dogs On Doorsteps.

Posting to Instagram Stories, Ms Stevenson shared photos of Samantha and Banjo posing for photos around the Sunrise star’s Southern Highlands estate.
‘Excited to have the very adorable and hilarious Banjo and his lovely mumma in the upcoming Country Dogs On Doorsteps book,’ Ms Stevenson wrote.
Samantha reposted the images to her Instagram Stories alongside a humorous caption about how she and her dog looked alike.

Samantha’s new book appearance comes amid rumours the journalist is considering jumping ship to another network when her contract with Seven expires at the end of the year.
According to New Idea magazine, Channel 10 is hoping to ‘entice’ Sam to front a new morning show to rival Sunrise and Nine’s Today show in 2022.

The proposed new breakfast show would either replace the network’s current morning program, Studio 10, or be a revamped version of it.
However, a source said Sam isn’t keen on returning to early starts and would ‘prefer a spot on’ nightly current affairs show The Project.
‘That would be her prize job,’ the insider added.
