SAS Australia: Ali Oetjen vows to NEVER go on a dating show again

SAS Australia’s Ali Oetjen vows to NEVER go on a dating show again after splitting from her Bachelorette winner Taite Radley

She made three appearances on The Bachelor franchise and left empty-handed.

So it’s hardly surprising Ali Oetjen has decided to throw in the towel, telling Woman’s Day she is ‘definitely’ not going back on a dating show again.

Ali, 34, who is one of the celebrity contestants on Channel Seven’s SAS Australia, is instead focusing on her personal growth for the time behind.

When asked if she would consider returning to the TV franchise that made her famous, the fitness influencer said it was totally out of the question.

‘I am definitely no doing another love show, ever!’ she said. ‘I just want to focus on my wellness journey and keep on inspiring people in that industry.’

Despite shutting down a return to Channel 10’s The Bachelor, Ali has recently found herself the subject of dating rumours involving a fellow SAS Australia recruit.

Several outlets have linked her to Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins, who was the Bachelor the same year she was the Bachelorette, but she has denied the reports.

In an interview with Yahoo last week, Ali clarified there was no truth to the rumours ‘at all’ and admitted the pair ‘didn’t chat much’ during filming.

‘I find [the speculation] so funny and frustrating at the same time,’ she said.

But despite being hot on the heels of a break-up, she said that finding love was the last thing on her mind.

‘I wasn’t looking for love at all… it was just an amazing opportunity to experience and test myself,’ she told Yahoo.

Ali and Taite, 29, announced their split via Instagram in July, saying they were ‘taking time apart’ and giving each other ‘some space’.

Ali, who now works in the wellness industry, debuted on The Bachelor in 2013, returned for Bachelor in Paradise in 2018, and was the Bachelorette later that year.
