‘They could have done a lot better!’ SAS Australia instructor reveals the ‘most disappointing’ celebrity he worked with this season… and says the star ‘wasn’t in a good place’

SAS Australia directing staff member Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham has revealed which celebrity he was most disappointed by on the show.

In an interview with News.com.au on Saturday, Billy said he wasn’t impressed with Roxy Jacenko, who left the show after just six hours.

‘She hated the course, she hated being shouted at. I think she was a lot physically fitter than what we saw because she didn’t really push herself,’ he said.

‘You could tell from her facial expressions within the first couple of hours she was not in a good place, didn’t want to be there and she let her mind take control of that.’

Billy said Roxy ‘talked herself out of’ completing challenges and she ‘could of gone a lot further’.

‘I was quite disappointed actually… she could have done a lot better,’ he said.

The premiere episode of SAS Australia saw the celebrity contestants being punished after Firass Dirani disrespected the Special Forces instructors.

Unimpressed with the 37-year-old actor’s attitude, the instructors made all the stars submerge themselves in freezing cold water.

But an emotional Roxy Jacenko refused to get into the water, and instead told staff that she wanted off the show.

‘I can’t do it. I actually can’t… My leg’s killing me. I can’t do it,’ the 40-year-old publicist told the instructors as she handed over her armband.

Despite being asked if she was ‘100 per cent sure’, Roxy insisted she couldn’t do it, before breaking down in tears.

She only lasted six hours before deciding to quit because it was ‘too demanding’.

Disgraced glamour model Arabella Del Busso also quit the show in the first episode, followed by Schapelle Corby who made her exit in episode two.
