They kicked off the show with a parody of Would I Lie To You with a Mother’s Day theme as they got Lee Mack, Michelle Visage and Stephen Mulhern to guess which woman was the daughter of a member of their virtual audience.

During the first guessing game with Pat, Stephen joked that she was ‘doing a near Judy Finnigan’  as she was wearing a plunging top that showed off a glimpse of her bra as she sat talking to them.

As they discussed which of the three women was the ‘real’ Rachel, Stephen joked: ‘I would hurry up because pat is doing a near Judy Finnigan.’

Lee, Stephen and Michelle tried to figure out which story was true, whether Pat sneaked her daughter into a hotel in a suitcase, whether she had Rachel cut off all her hair when she refused to brush it, or if she stuck an egg to a spoon with gum to win a Mum’s race.

Michelle was convinced the second story, about the dramatic haircut, was true as she claimed: ‘Same thing happened to me, my mum chopped it all off.’

It turned out their guess was correct as it was revealed the ‘real’ Rachel had her hair cut off, and they showed a picture of her beside her brother at the time.

They then had to guess which woman was Brenda’s daughter Marie, as each woman brought an item which was supposedly owned by her.

One ‘Marie’ brought a pair of stinky slippers with her, while the other had a picture of a late pet cat, and the third had a baby tooth in a locket.

Lee joked it would be terrible if it was the first item, as he claimed: ‘I can smell them from here!’

Michelle thought it was the ‘Marie’ who brought a locket with her baby tooth, as she had done the same with her two daughter’s teeth.

However, the trio were wrong as they learned that it was in fact the person who brought the stinky slippers who was the real Marie.

The real Marie and Rachel then surprised their mothers by revealing that they would soon be grandmothers, in a sweet final message.
