Saweetie channels Destiny’s Child as she transforms into Beyonce for Bootylicious music video

Saweetie assured her fans they ‘weren’t ready for this jelly’ as she transformed into Beyonce in the Destiny’s Child’s Bootylicious music video for Halloween.

The 26-year-old rapper put full effort into the incredible outfit, as she donned a sleek blonde wig and pink crop top and trousers combo for the video. 

Saweetie mocked up the Bootylicious album cover with two dancers, who were dressed as band members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

Saweetie enhanced her pretty features with a glowing coat of make-up, including subtle pink eye-make up look to compliment her outfit. 

One of the dancers was dressed in Kelly’s polka dot bikini and sported her iconic red highlighted cropped wig, while other woman sported a sheer pink lace top and a curled black wig.

The American star captioned the image: ‘I don’t think you ready for this jelly! #saweetaween.’

The group stayed in the pink ensembles for the group, while the original band opted for matching yellow outfits for the opening sequences of the video.

However the band’s distinctive dance moves and style was clear to see the copycat video, as the girls shook their hips in time to the music.

Tap In, the lead single from her upcoming album has already become a sensation, after going viral with a dance on TikTok.

The single was inspired by Too Short’s hit Blow The Whistle, and by a routine she has with her Twitter followers telling them to ‘Tap In’ to a thread.

It climbed the Billboard charts and earned her a Song of the Summer nomination at the VMAs, Post Malone, DaBaby, and Jack Harlow were tapped for the remix.

Saweetie has been in a relationship with Migos star Quavo since 2018.
