Sky News presenter Andrew Bolt sells his four-bedroom Melbourne home for $2.8million as he prepares to move to country Victoria

Sky News Australia host Andrew Bolt has sold his Melbourne home for a $2.8million, ahead of his planned move to the Victorian countryside.

The four-bedroom property, in Malvern East, exceeded its price guide of $2.5million to $2.75million, Domain reported on Wednesday.

The home, which was built in 1905, is an eclectic blend of its Federation history with mod cons and sleek design features.

The sale comes after Andrew revealed his plans to leave Melbourne. 

In August, he told The Age newspaper: ‘We are leaving the madhouse of Melbourne. I wish we had done it a year ago.’

‘I had planned to quit Sky News, but now I am very interested in plans to broadcast from home,’ he added.

Andrew and his wife, Sally Morrell, are moving to their property in country Victoria.

Real estate agent James Redfern, from Marshall White, told Domain that the Malvern East home has been sold to a family.

‘A young family who loves the spot and are going to move in there,’ Mr Redfern said.
