Sofia Vergara’s husband Joe Manganiello melts hearts as he carries pet dog Bubbles out of the vet

He is known for portraying the merciless high school bully ‘Flash’ Thompson who ridiculed Peter Parker in Spider-Man. 

But Joe Manganiello positively melted hearts as he was pictured lovingly carrying his wife Sofia Vergara’s pet dog Bubbles out of a veterinarian’s office in Los Angeles on Wednesday. 

The actor, 44, sported a rock star look in a Slayer T-shirt as he bundled the little chihuahua up in a blanket, while gently cradling her in one arm. 

The screen star teamed his tee with skull-print Vans slip-on shoes and grey striped knee-length shorts.   

The True Blood actor strolled in the winter sun and blocked out the rays with black Wayfarer sunglasses.   

Bubbles was comfortably cradled in the crook of Joe’s arm and carefully swaddled in a blanket. 

Joe and Sofia adopted Bubbles from the LA shelter Dogs Without Borders in 2019. 

The caring couple rescued the chihuahua after they discovered she had a potentially cancerous cyst on her tummy.  

The pair – who have been married since 2015 – are devoted dog parents to the poorly pooch.  

‘She’s been with us ever since. She loves me and she’s just been like the light of our lives since we’ve had her,’ Joe told The Drew Barrymore show in December. 

Joe and Sofia first met at the White House Correspondents dinner in 2014 and are said to have had visible chemistry as soon as they were introduced. 

The Colombian beauty was engaged to her former fiancé Nick Loeb at the time. 

‘We didn’t start dating until she was single,’ the Magic Mike actor told E! News. ‘I’m not trying to start a fight at the White House.’ 

The couple embarked upon a whirlwind romance and were happily engaged by December 2014.    

The glittering Hollywood couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in lockdown in November.  

Sofia took to Instagram to display her affection for her handsome husband, alongside a series of gorgeous throwback photos.
