Casting will soon close for Channel Nine’s Beauty And The Geek Australia 2021.

And the show’s host Sophie Monk has encouraged fans looking for love to lodge their applications while they still have the chance.   

‘I’m so excited to be hosting Beauty and the Geek, one of my favourite shows,’ the former Bachelorette, 40, told fans in an Instagram video uploaded on Sunday. 

‘And if you’re down for an adventure – and it’s been a tough 2020 – this is a very fun show and a very romantic show. And we all know opposites attract,’ she insisted. 

‘So if you’re a beauty or a geek, I suggest you apply!’ Sophie beamed. 

According to the Endemol Shine casting website, producers are on the hunt for a bevy of ‘big-hearted beauties and geeky guys’ to pair up and compete for a cash prize.

Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old, and must be available to film for up to seven weeks between mid January and early March 2021.  

According to the website, contestants will face weekly challenges testing the ‘beauties’ on academic subjects and social skills of the ‘geeks’.   

‘The winners of the challenges select two teams to compete against each other in an elimination quiz. The team with the least correct answers is eliminated,’ a casting note reveals.

The last teams will battle for a cash prize, as well as the title of ‘Beauty and the Geek champions’. 

Auditions close on 16th November 2020. 

Beauty and the Geek’s return comes six years after the dating series was axed by Channel Seven in 2014.
