Steve Harvey is not impressed with Lori Harvey’s new boyfriend Michael B Jordan.
The always candid 64-year-old television personality got real about his 24-year-old daughter’s relationship with the actor, 34, in a new interview with Jimmy Kimmel, taking a few jabs at him.
Though Steve did call him a ‘nice guy,’ he was quick to joke that Jordan was not ‘all that’ in his opinion.

When asked about his thoughts on his daughter dating People’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’, Harvey had fun with teasing the guy.
‘First of all, let’s be clear about something. He is a nice guy, but he is NOT the sexiest man alive to me. At all,’ he shared, before calling himself the ‘sexiest man alive.’
The Family Feud host continued to say, ‘This kid…I like him…I’m pulling for him,’ despite seemingly unsure about whether or not it was the real deal.
Kimmel inquired about his thoughts on Jordan renting a whole aquarium out for Lori on Valentine’s Day.

Harvey remained unconvinced about the grandiose gesture as he said: ‘Yeah, well good luck homie ’cause Valentine’s come every year… I don’t know if you know how this works or not, but I don’t know how you gonna top that,’ before adding ‘good look partner.’
His jokes subsided for a brief moment as he said, ‘It was really nice what he did, I’m happy for him,’ while calling him a ‘great guy’ and mentioning that he had actually met his father.
But then it was right back to the jabs as he quipped, ‘I don’t know where he’s [Michael’s] going from here so hopefully maybe he’ll make Creed 4, 5 and 6.’

Steve also added that he wished his daughters would read his relationship book before picking suitors when he was asked if the Black Panther actor should have taken a peek at it before going for Lori.
‘I wish my daughters would read the d**n book – that would be the smarter move. Look man when your kids grow up they can make decisions on their own. I’m just happy that I can at least approve of one.’
Harvey was very forthcoming that in the past he had ‘pure hatred’ for his daughters’ boyfriends, saying he approved of ‘nothing ever.’
She has been linked to Diddy, Trey Songz, Lewis Hamilton and broke off an engagement to Dutch soccer player Memphis Depay in 2018.

Though fiercely protective over Lori, it seemed he was willing to give Jordan a chance.
The pair sparked romance rumors in November as they were seen flying to her family’s home in Atlanta ahead of Thanksgiving. They went Instagram official with their relationship in January and have not been shy about their love for eachother since.
A source told People this week that the relationship has ‘gotten serious quickly,’ and she is ‘very happy.’
‘It’s obvious that they don’t want to be apart. When they don’t travel together, Lori spends a lot of time in Los Angeles with Michael,’ the insider shared, adding that he has ‘charmed her and is treating her like a queen.’
