Strictly Come Dancing fans were moved to tears on Sunday’s show as the professional dancers delivered an emotional routine to mark Remembrance Sunday.
During the poignant performance, the pros honoured the late Forces’ Sweetheart Dame Vera Lynn, who passed away aged 103 in June.
The professionals also celebrated former British army officer Captain Sir Tom Moore, who raised more than £33million for the NHS during the coronavirus crisis, during the emotional routine.

The routine features several of Lynn’s songs such as The White Cliffs Of Dover and her beloved We’ll Meet Again.
Talking after the routine, co-host Claudia Winkleman said: ‘Thank you for that beautiful tribute to Dame Vera Lynn on Remembrance Sunday.’
Services for Remembrance Sunday this year are greatly impacted due to the pandemic, with a full lockdown in England and other restrictions in place across the UK.
Taking to Twitter after the performance aired, fans praised the dancers for the powerful routine and revealed they were left in tears.

Dame Vera Lynn passed away aged 103 in June and she was laid to rest at a private funeral in July.
A flypast by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, consisting of a Spitfire and a Hurricane, took place during the pause at midday.

She was also fondly remembered for singing The White Cliffs Of Dover, There’ll Always Be An England, I’ll Be Seeing You, Wishing and If Only I Had Wings, to help raise British spirits during the Second World War.
Decades later her name is as enduring as that of Sir Winston Churchill as a figure who played a huge role in keeping up the spirits of a civilian population suffering under the Blitz and the troops training at home and fighting overseas.
Dame Vera, a humanitarian and entertainer, saw something of a resurgence during the current coronavirus pandemic with the Queen using her words ‘We’ll meet again’ to galvanise modern Britain during a time of struggle.

The former NFL player, 42, and his professional partner Luba Mushtuk, 30, found themselves in the dance-off with Nicola Adams and her pro Katya Jones.
Yet Jason and Luba’s Paso Doble to the Star Wars Theme by John Williams failed to impress the judging panel made up of Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Craig Revel Horwood.
Strictly Come Dancing returns next Saturday at 7:10pm on BBC One.
