And Strictly’s Maisie Smith has yet again showcased her dulcet tones in a short clip shared to her Instagram stories on Wednesday.

She proved she is a talented all-round performer as she nailed the demanding harmonies as she applied her bronzer.

Maisie looked stunning as she channelled her inner diva while performing for the camera in a simple black T-shirt.

The Eastenders star added some glamour to her casual ensemble with a full face of bronzed make-up and a slick of fuchsia lipstick.

She wore her auburn tresses in a straight fashion and tied two lengthy strands away from her face in a twirled style as she added the finishing touches to her make-up.

She critiqued her performance in a comment alongside her Instagram stories clip, penning that she ‘went a bit flat’ later on in her rendition.

Alongside the short video, Maisie also quipped that her singing sessions are why applying her make-up ‘always takes so long’.

It is not the first time the soap actress has wowed with her sensational singing, as she belted out Corrine Bailey Rae’s classic tune Put Your Records On last month.

Maisie is preparing to perform two routines on Strictly Come Dancing for the first time on Saturday’s semi-final show alongside professional partner Gorka Marquez.

She hopes to impress the judges by performing the dance to Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It by Will Smith with the Spanish dancer, 30.

The couple will also dance the Viennese Waltz to A Thousand Years by Christina Perri during the much-anticipated semi-final.

Last week, Maisie and Gorka again showed off their talents on the Strictly stage on Saturday with an energetic jive to Little Shop Of Horrors, getting a 28 overall.

Ahead of Saturday’s show, Maisie revealed she has put on weight during her time on Strictly, despite spending hours in intense rehearsals.

Speaking to Heat magazine, she said she reckons she is the only celebrity contestant to put on weight while taking part in the show.

She explained: ‘It’s weird. Everyone always says, “Going on this show, you’re just going to shed the weight.”‘

However, Maisie explained she is eating more food than ever before to make up for the energy she burns while dancing.

She said: ‘But I haven’t noticed that about myself because I eat triple the amount of food I was eating before. I think I’m the only celeb to actually put on weight.’

Maisie, who is partnered with Gorka Marquez on the show, specifically blamed her weight gain on doughnuts and fajitas.

She said: ‘Gorka and I have a bag of doughnuts every single day, so that’s probably not going to help. Fajitas and doughnuts, that’s my diet right now. That’s something of a balance, isn’t it?’

Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
