They’ve been forced to deny romance rumours after raising the roof with their steamy Argentine tango on Strictly Come Dancing earlier this month.

Framing her face with wavy tresses, the broadcaster complemented her beauty with neutral-toned make-up.

Ballroom star Giovanni, meanwhile, looked equally smart in a three-piece suit and brown brogues.

The pair scored an average 24 out of 30 points for their rendition of the American Smooth to I Say A Little Prayer by Aretha Franklin on Saturday’s episode.

Earlier in the week, the choreographer spoke about Ranvir’s ‘mesmerising’ progress as she grows in confidence on the BBC programme.

The TV star gushed over how his celebrity partner has evolved since week one and admitted she continues to surprise him ‘every single week’.

Giovanni joked that although he knew it would be a ‘fantastic year’ with the brunette, he did initially believe that their Strictly journey together would be a ‘short’ one.

Speaking on BBC Morning Live on Wednesday, Giovanni revealed: ‘What I love most about Ranvir is her confidence is growing every single week.

‘If you remember the launch week I did with Ranvir, it was like, ‘this is my partner, it’s going to be a fantastic year, but maybe short!’

‘We thought week one, week two, week three maybe. Now she’s surprising me every single week. How she’s growing is mesmerising. As a teacher I don’t see the final because it’s too far away, there are three weeks, four weeks more.

‘I always say take it week by week because it’s a different dance and you never know what the public like or what the other couples are doing.

‘If we make the final it will be a dream, but it would be very well deserved for her, because she really deserves it.’

Giovanni, who joined the hugely popular programme in 2015, also revealed he plans to stay on the show until he wins, stating: ‘Listen, winning something, who doesn’t want to do it? All the pros.

‘If someone comes here and says they don’t want to win it they’re liars because you spend so many hours in the room, and you want to take the Glitterball at some point.’

The couple have batting away speculation of an off dancefloor romance in recent weeks.

On Wednesday, Ranvir continued to insist her sizzling chemistry with dance partner Giovanni stays on the floor, but she has confessed the two have got very close in training.

Speaking on Lorraine, she quipped that the hunky Italian ‘knows me better than my own GP now’ following their intimate routine which they performed on Saturday night.

Reflecting on the intense rehearsals, the host said: ‘I can’t actually tell you the words he uses… he says this part needs to be here, this parts needs to be there. I said you know me better than my own GP now!

‘It’s so funny, it is a very unusual experience to be that close to someone. The one thing I’m struggling to find is the energy.

‘It doesn’t matter how much sleep Gio has, whether he’s eaten or not, his body is just ready… I’m just struggling to keep up.’

Despite the exhausting schedule, the journalist added she’s really found her passion for the show over the past couple of weeks, stating: ‘I think I felt a definite change in the last two or three weeks.

‘I’ve certainly gone into training this week feeling a bit better, less embarrassed. Gio is like ‘alright leg up’ and I’m like ”alright up we go!”… I’m putting myself into it, you’ve got to allow yourself to do it. Go for it full pelt or don’t do it.’

Asked once again if the two are dating, Ranvir declared: ‘We’re definitely not going out you can’t go out anywhere!’

Days earlier, the Loose Women panellist was even quizzed on if she has had any ‘hanky panky’ with her dance partner by co-star Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain.

Cheeky Piers, 55, recounted how he got Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean to ‘crack’ and reveal that they had once snogged on the back of a bus, during a Life Stories interview in 2013.

The ITV star then asked Ranvir, who was sat in the back of a taxi during the virtual interview: ‘So I’m asking you directly, has there been any hanky panky?’

However, the Preston native insisted: ‘No of course not, there hasn’t! He’s [Giovanni] very much about the performance and all about the routines…’, after insisting that they find the idea that they will be hit by the Strictly curse ‘very funny’.
