The couple is believed to have begun dating sometime after Daniel, 28, took over the role as a director on the program in 2018, following the retirement of Ken Moore.

Prior to his role on Sunrise, Daniel worked on a range of programs for various networks, including SBS, Nine and Fox Sports.

According to The Daily Telegraph, the network confirmed that they’re in a relationship, but said it was ‘a private matter that did not impact their work’.
