She’s an Academy Award-winning actress who’s been wowing audiences on the big and small screens for more than 50-years.
But for Mother’s Day Susan Sarandon looked happy to play the role of doting mom and grandmother when she stepped out with some of her immediate family in New York City.
The Thelma & Louise star was spotted while out on a casual stroll, which also included a stop for brunch, with her son Jack Robbins, who brought along his dog, former son-in-law Kyle Martino, and her two of her grandchildren Marlowe and Major.

Sarandon, 74, took turns holding hands with Marlow, six, and Major, four, as they made their way down the streets in the Lower East Side neighborhood in Downtown Manhattan.
She kept it casual and comfortable in the fashion department in blue denim jeans and a red and black Letterman’s jacket devoted to the legendary animation series, The Simpsons.
Her ensemble was rounded out with red, white and blue slip-on sneakers and her long red tresses pulled up into a loose bun.

As Sarandon walked alongside her grandchildren, Martino, who had been married to her daughter Eva Amurri, kept close and alternated holding hands with his son and daughter.
Martino also dressed casually in faded blue jeans, a grey sweatshirt and blue sneakers. He also has a one-year-old son, Mateo, with Amurri, whom he split from back in late 2019.
Robbins, who’s father is acclaimed actor Tim Robbins, appeared to lag behind during much of their time together tending to his pet pooch.

All of them made sure to wear a protective mask amid the still dangerous COVID-19 pandemic.
Eventually, the family of five stopped to sit in the outdoor patio of Kiki’s, a local Greek restaurant, to enjoy some food and drinks.
Being the star of some massively successful and influential films over five decades, Sarandon was approached by adoring fans who recognized her when she took off her face mask at her table.
After relaxing for awhile, the family eventually made their way back on to the sidewalk for their trip back uptown.
Along with Thelma & Louise (1991), Sarandon’s legendary Hollywood resume also includes The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), Atlantic City (1980), The Hunger (1983), The Witches Of Eastwick (1987), Bull Durham (1988), Lorenzo’s Oil (1992) and Dead Man Walking (1995).
