Comedian Steve, 55, confirmed the show will return next year, telling Digital Spy in September: ‘We’re in the middle of writing another series of This Time.

Speaking on podcast, WTF with Marc Maron last year, actor Steve, 55, detailed the premise of the programme, which explores issues including the #MeToo movement as he attempts to get ‘on message.’

‘Whereas now we do him as someone who realises that he’s got to get on message. He’s struggling to do the thing he’s supposed to.’

The show has been co-written by twin brothers Neil and Rob Gibbons, who are the also the directors.
