Take a look at all the celebrity Christmas trees this year

Celebrities are getting right into the festive spirit this year after a difficult 2020. 

The likes of Rebecca Judd, Tammy Hembrow, Sophie Monk, Delta Goodrem and  Jackie ‘O’ Henderson have been proudly showing off their eye-catching Christmas trees with fans on social media this week. 

Ranging from more humble price points to expensive bespoke pieces worth thousands, the stars have gone all out to transform their homes for the holidays. 

SOPHIE MONK

It seems that Gold Coast girl Sophie, 40, hasn’t forgotten her more humble roots, opting for a $65 white Christmas tree from Big W this year. 

But Sophie has hinted she regrets purchasing the plastic tree.

‘I saw it in Myer years ago and thought “that looks so rich,” Sophie said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show.  

‘I was like, “look at that”… [but the result] it looks like a retirement home.’

‘I did a poll to show the results and everyone was pretty much like, “nah”.’

The blonde beauty explained that she made the plunge from green to white after seeing the tree in Big W for $65.

‘That’s where I went wrong. I’m not saying Big W is bad, but it was 65 bucks and I thought I’d give it a go and pretty much, yeah, I went to a poll on Instagram and they said, “nah, it’s c**p,” she added. 

REBECCA JUDD 

AFL WAG Rebecca Judd, 37, proudly unveiled her Christmas tree, last week.

The mother-of-four opted for a green tree for her $7.3million home in Melbourne’s Brighton. 

Bec’s tree is adorned with pink, red, gold and silver baubles and decorations. 

And it seems the brunette beauty has already done some Christmas shopping, as she has placed four big bags of goodies underneath.  

Last year, Bec revealed on her radio show The 3pm Pick Up that she had thrown out her infamous ‘ugly stick’ tree, which had previously been branded on social media as ‘depressing’ and ‘un-festive’. 

She said: ‘How’s this for breaking news? You know my “ugly stick tree” that I always cop flack [for] every year when I put it on Instagram?

‘Very expensive, that tree. Anyway, the tree’s gone. It didn’t make the move.’ 

TAMMY HEMBROW 

Tammy Hembrow, 26, has opted for a traditional green tree at her Saski Collection offices on the Gold Coast. 

The tree has a silver hue and features stunning pink flowers and butterflies. 

She opted for the same colour palette for the baubles, and has placed a traditional gold star on top. 

Underneath is a pile of presents with gold and white Christmas wrapping. 

MATTY J and LAURA BYRNE 

Bachelor couple Matty J and Laura Byrne have also selected a simple tree this year.

The couple, who are proud parents to daughter Marlie Mae, one, and are also expecting their second child, decorated their green plastic tree with silver tinsel and blue and green baubles. 

But Laura thinks the creation looks ‘pathetic.’  

And things went from bad to worse when the jewellery designer had to strip the tree of its decorations.

She explained she was forced to remove them all because of her energetic toddler. 

‘You guys all told me having a Christmas tree with decorations was a wild and reckless idea with a toddler,’ she said. 

‘I’ve had enough of picking up broken baubles. So now we just have a $30 plastic tree in our living room and Christmas is dead.’ 

JACKIE ‘O’ HENDERSON

KIIS FM radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has splashed the cash for Christmas this year. 

The 45-year-old single mother is pulling out all the stops to make the festive season that extra special, opting for a lavish and bespoke tree from Dancer and Dasher. 

While the exact size of her tree is unknown, a standard 180cm Christmas tree and decoration supply package costs $2,500 and installation starts from $1,000, Dancer and Dasher’s website states. 

Last year, The Sydney Morning Herald reported that Jackie spent $5,000 to have her tree designed by the professional stylists.

This year, the radio star had a pastel tree erected in her Woollahra mansion, with a white tree skirt.

The extravagant piece features an array of colours, as well as a large pink and silver baubles. 

Last year, Jackie had a small-but-elaborate blue, silver and purple mermaid-inspired feature installed in her home.

She took to Instagram to share a photo of her daughter Catalina ‘Kitty’, eight, with the tree.

‘Loving our new mermaid Christmas tree this year. ‘Thanks to Alana from Dancer and Dasher for the install. At night it is even more spectacular,’ Jackie wrote.

DELTA GOODREM 

Jackie O isn’t the only star to spend up big on a tree from stylists Dancer and Dasher.  

Delta Goodrem, 36, also has a stunning piece from the company erected in her own home. 

The company shared pictures of Delta’s tree on Instagram, and explained that it comes complete with silver berry sprays, champagne encrusted garlands and white icicles. 

‘Adorned with silvery berry sprays, white icicles, jewelled picks and champagne encrusted garlands just to name a few,’ they wrote on Instagram. 

‘This Christmas spectacular is even more amazing in the flesh!’

‘This bespoke tree has brought me so much joy and meaning to be able to design and create this for beautiful person it now belongs to,’ they added, before tagging Delta.  

CANDICE WARNER

SAS Australia star Candice, 35, has also gone all out this year.  

She shared a Boomerang video of her daughters smiling and beaming in front of her own silver tree from Dancer and Dasher.

It features elves, doves and snowflakes and soft gold lights.

In front of the tree is a reindeer toy and several presents. 

Candice’s former friend, PR guru Roxy Jacenko, also opted for a tree from the company this year, but went for a showstopping green, red and gold tree.

‘Our 2020 Christmas tree is in – WOW. Dancer and Dasher you’ve done it again. This year we went for traditional tones of red, Christmas green and gold.’
