Update: Tammin Sursok has updated fans on her husband Sean McEwen’s coronavirus battle. In a video shared to Instagram on Monday, the 37-year-old actress said Sean was still ‘very exhausted’ and going through ‘the post-viral part of Covid’

‘Our doctor says he’s going through post-viral part of Covid. He is really exhausted. He is sleeping almost all day. He wakes for up food and goes back to bed.’

‘What is crazy is that a lot of people don’t talk about the post-effects of this virus. A lot of you have [direct messaged] me and said they struggled for a lot longer than talked about,’ she explained.

‘Some people get sick for 10 days, some people have no symptoms and then there are other people like my husband who are fit, young, have no pre-existing conditions, have no immune problems and they really get affected by it.’

Tammin believes her husband is now ‘on the good side of Covid’ but she isn’t sure how long the ‘post-viral part of the virus is going to last’.

She also revealed she and her daughters, Phoenix, six, and Lennon, two, can now leave their house after quarantining for 15 days and testing negative three times.

Last week, Tammin tearfully announced that her husband, film producer Sean, had contracted coronavirus.

‘My husband has Covid and I’m scared. Today I’m not as scared as yesterday, but yesterday I felt very out of control,’ she said.

‘It was rough and touch and go. All the hospitals are full and his fever of 103 wouldn’t break for days and it got to a very scary place.
