Matt James came to the aid of Sarah Trott after she collapsed during the rose ceremony on Monday’s episode of The Bachelor on ABC.
Sarah, 24, was in good standing with Matt, 29, after she earlier received a date rose after their one-on-one date.
‘I’m so grateful that I have a rose because Victoria ruined the night,’ Sarah said in a confessional referencing drama caused by self-declared ‘Queen’ Victoria Lawson, 27.

‘Maybe he’s seeing a different side to her, but the longer she’s here the more I question my relationship with Matt,’ Sarah continued.
‘I’ve never felt like this before and, right now, I’m just overwhelmed,’ she added in a bit of foreshadowing.
Matt after handing out nine roses let out a huge sigh as Sarah was shown closing her eyes and taking a deep breath.
She then stumbled backward and was helped by another contestant who held onto her and helped walk her to the back of the room.

Matt stopped the rose ceremony and walked back to check on Sarah.

A medic who was called rushed over to Sarah and asked what was wrong.

The medic started tending to Sarah as she said, ‘I’m blacking out. I can’t see.’
The season 25 episode then ended dramatically with a To Be Continued notice for viewers.
The two-hour show opened with Matt getting some exercise running and cycling on a Peloton bike at the Nemacolin Resort in southern Pennsylvania.

Show host Chris Harrison, 49, then informed the women that there would be two one-on-one dates and one group date before the next rose ceremony.
Matt first went on a one-on-one date with Bri Springs, 24, that involved both of them riding all-terrain vehicles in the woodlands resort.
Bri put her trust in Matt as she climbed onto the back of his ATV, which he promptly rolled after driving in tight circles in the mud.

He apologized profusely for ‘tossing’ her and the near-death experience brought them even closer.
They drank champagne in a hot tub afterward and kissed before their dinner date.
‘The way you opened up tonight and how adventurous you were earlier on in the date, that’s attractive to me, and it’s a quality that I’m looking for in someone that I want to spend a lot more time with,’ Matt told Bri before offering a date rose that she accepted.

Tensions meanwhile flared in the house as Victoria admitted that she already was sick of everybody and had no interest in being part of a sorority.
Victoria singled out Marylynn and called her ‘psychologically disturbed’.
‘I don’t even care. I’m gonna be with Matt, and the rest of it is just like…ridiculous. I literally am a queen, and I can’t wait for Matt to send her home so I have my own room, as a queen should,’ said Victoria whose occupation was shown as ‘Queen’.

Alana Milne, 26, of Texas, in a confessional shared her thoughts on Victoria and admitted that she found her behavior ‘off-putting’
‘I have sympathy for her, because you don’t want someone to be getting ganged up on, on one hand, but on the other, like, stop – sorry – being an idiot,’ Alana added.
The massive group date featured a wedding dress photoshoot with Matt, but it was interrupted by Chris who revealed the women would have to fight for Matt’s heart.

The women were divided into teams of two to play a game of capture the heart in which they tag their opponent with paint dipped in wedding-themed items.
The winning team would enjoy a group date with Matt, while the losing team had to retrun home in their busted up painted dresses.
The red team including Victoria won and Matt learned more about the women before giving the date rose to Lauren Maddox, 29, after bonding over their Christian faith.

Sarah then went on her one-on-one date with Matt in which they flew together in a biplane.
She had some reservations about the vintage biplane and joked that they were climbing into the first plane ever made.
Sarah and Matt did a flyby past the resort that made the other women envious.

Matt probed Sarah to learn more about her, but she was reserved and held back details until their dinner date.
Sarah over dinner revealed that her father was diagnosed with ALS, otherwise known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, and she had quit her job reporting and anchoring TV news in San Diego to help care for him.
Matt appreciated her being more open and awarded her with a date rose.

The party before the rose ceremony was dominated by Victoria telling Matt that Marylynn Sienna, 28, had been bullying her.
Marylynn had been questioning if Matt was into her, but he gifted her with her favorite flower, an orchid, that gave her a boost of confidence.
Matt, however, took Victoria at her word and called back Marylynn for questioning.

Marylynn defended herself to Matt, but he admitted afterward that he didn’t know what to think about them.
Victoria later refused to sit next to Marylynn as she tried to make peace with her.
