The Bachelor: Tim Robards talks splitting parenting duties with wife Anna Heinrich

The Bachelor’s Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Elle, last month.

And on Monday, former Neighbours star Tim, 38, revealed how he and wife Anna, 33, divide parenting duties at home.

In an Instagram Q&A, the physiotherapist explained that they share most of the parenting jobs, including changing Elle’s dirty nappies. 

‘We pretty much do a bit of everything. There is not one job I do and she doesn’t do, except breastfeeding, and I do most of the baths,’ he said. 

‘I’ll do some feeds with expressed milk here and there, but generally she is breastfeeding most of the time.

‘Everything else, dirty nappies and whatever, we just split it and do what we can.’

The actor also revealed he was in ‘awe’ of Anna when she was giving birth. 

‘The emotions were running pretty high, but I was in absolute awe and respect of how strong she was. She just got down to business,’ he said.  

It comes after the married couple celebrated their baby girl’s first ever Christmas on Thursday, sharing a series of heartwarming photos to Instagram.

In one of the photos, Anna and Tim cradled their little girl as the family posed in front of their Christmas tree.

In the second, criminal lawyer Anna wore a white dress and smiled while cradling her six-week-old daughter.

In the final image, the proud parents took a photo of their baby as she curiously looked up at the camera.

Anna wrote in the caption: ‘Feeling very lucky today. Wishing everyone a very Merry Xmas and thinking of everyone who isn’t able to see their family today.’
