The Crown’s Olivia Colman wears straddles a horse for role as a downtrodden housewife in Landscapers

How did Queen Olivia get saddled with that? The Crown’s Colman wears a grey cardigan as she straddles a horse for role as a downtrodden housewife in Landscapers

The last time we saw Olivia Colman she was majestically dressed as the Queen. But our exclusive pictures above caught her looking far less glorious last week in grey cardigan and trousers.

The Oscar-winning actress struck the uncomfortable poses while filming on Hankley Common in Surrey for a new TV series in which she plays a woman involved in the shocking murder of her parents.

Ms Colman, 47, showed a little more poise in her previous role as the Queen in The Crown, when she was seen riding at the Trooping the Colour.

In our pictures she is seen clambering on to a horse ridden by co-star David Thewlis, 58, with the actress laughing as they share a saddle.

The victims remained there for a decade before they were discovered.

In the meantime, Susan and Christopher spent 15 years looting their bank accounts to spend on Hollywood memorabilia.

Susan (left) and Christopher (right) Edwards were sentenced to life in prison for the murder of William and Patricia Wycherley in June 2014

In 2014 the pair were found guilty of murder. Police believe Christopher shot both his in-laws with a Second World War revolver.

They were each jailed for a minimum of 25 years.

The four-part series will screen on Sky Atlantic and HBO in America. Ms Colman won an Oscar in 2019 for her role as Queen Anne in The Favourite and was nominated again this year for her part in The Father with Sir Anthony Hopkins.
