The clip begins with Evan, played by Noon, being informed that he is being cut from an ice hockey team due to his inexperience on the rink.

A montage of shots from a game is then contrasted with a sequence in which Noon is seen practicing hockey with a friend on a residential street; one of the slap shots hits a car and sets off an alarm.

Evan’s mother Alex, played by  Graham, then tells her son: ‘I want you to think about all the other kids who’ve been told that they’re too small or they’re too slow; they just want to get out there and play.’

Afterwards, a group of Evan’s friends enter an ice rink after he was advised by his mother to start his own team, comprised of the kids that would not normally have been added to a roster.

Estevez, returning as Bombay, then asks an offscreen character who had entered the rink if they were lost.

Noon is shown taking a fall during a game, and Estevez tells him that if the team is to be successful, they have to take the initiative and make things better for themselves.

A team member then makes a perfect goal, and when inquired by the coach why she is so invested in the kids, Graham replies: ‘Because you care.’

A crowd’s cries are heard as the title card for the upcoming series is shown.

Another montage closes out the trailer in which a Ducks member makes a perfect slap shot, and when asked by his mother if he had seen the ‘nothing but net’ shot, Noon replies: ‘Pretty sure that’s basketball.’
