‘The rumours are true’: GMB weather host Laura Tobin flirts with Alex Beresford and jokes about ‘a night of passion in Glastonbury’ leaving Charlotte Hawkins gobsmacked
Good Morning Britain’s Charlotte Hawkins was left blushing as her co-host Alex Beresford and weather presenter Laura Tobin had a flirty exchange on Thursday’s show.
Her co-star, 40, and Laura, 39, insinuated that they spent a night together under the sheets, as Alex even implied that he fathered Laura’ three-year-old daughter.
An amused Charlotte, 45, decided to cut to the break before joking that she would find out the full story when the adverts rolled on screen.

The GMB stars discussed a recent study from Onbuy.com, that claimed bald men with beards and small feet make the best lovers.
Commenting on the report, Charlotte said: ‘Apparently baldies with beards are the best in bed, so have you got anything to declare on this story, Alex?’
‘I mean…I wouldn’t like to say,’ Alex said as Laura giggled at his comment.
The blonde-haired GMB presenter quizzed: ‘You alright over there Laura?’

‘The rumours are true,’ Laura said while sat down, and an entertained crew member proceeded to play sensual music in the background.
Charlotte responded: ‘I’m sorry, is there something going on in the weather corner?’ to which Laura joked: ‘He wishes! There was one time at Glastonbury where we had to share a tent.’
An entertained Alex quipped: ‘How old is your daughter?’
‘Well I have been told we have to move on from that bombshell,’ said Charlotte, in shock at the flirty chat.

Alex declared: ‘Nothing happened in the tent!’ to which his co-host responded: ‘Okay what we will do is, we’ll go to a break, we can find out what really happened, and we’ll let you know later.’
Laura is married to husband Dean Brown after the couple tied the knot in 2010. Meanwhile Alex shares a son, ten, with his ex-wife Natalia Natkaniec, who he divorced in 2019.
Charlotte has been married to her partner Mark Herbert for ten years. They share a daughter named Ella Rose and currently reside in Surrey.
