The 2020 American Music Award nominations have been announced, with The Weekend and Roddy Ricch topping the show with eight nods each.
Megan Thee Stallion follows close behind top contenders with five nominations, while Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, DaBaby, and Doja Cat are all up for four awards.
Taylor, who currently holds the record for the most AMA wins of all time, is competing against Justin, The Weeknd, Roddy, and Post Malone for Artist Of The Year.

Megan’s five nods make her the most-nominated female artist this year, with the rapper up for New Artist Of The Year, two Collaboration Of The Year awards, Favorite Song – Rap/Hip-Hop and Favorite Female Artist- Rap/Hip-Hop.
Her collaborations with Cardi B, WAP, and Beyonce, a Savage remix, are both up for Collaboration Of The Year.
WAP is also up for Favorite Song – Rap/Hip-Hop.
Ricch, meanwhile, is up for New Artist of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, Favorite Song – Pop/Rock, Favorite Male Artist – Rap/Hip-Hop, Favorite Album – Rap/Hip-Hop , and twice for Favorite Song – Rap/Hip-Hop including his Rockstar collaboration with DaBaby.
The Weeknd is up for Favorite Music Video, Favorite Male Artist – Pop/Rock, Favorite Song – Pop/Rock, Favorite Album – Pop/Rock, Favorite Male Artist -Soul/R&B, Favorite Album – Soul/R&B and Favorite Song – Soul/R&B.
