While no plot details were given, the project is based on an original idea by Noah, which is said to be, ‘timely, poignant and comedic.’

The script will be written by Jonathan Groff (Black-ish – also not the Frozen voice actor) and Jon Pollack based on Noah’s idea.

No director has been set at this time, though Noah will produce alongside his Day Zero president of production Haroon Saleem.

This will be Noah’s first foray into the world of animation, and it’s his first feature film project as well.

There is no indication yet if Noah will also be lending his voice to the project, or if his involvement will strictly be behind-the-scenes.

Noah made headlines earlier this month for plunking down a whopping $27.5 million for a Bel-Air mansion.

Just months earlier, The Daily Show host, who took over the long-running Comedy Central show in 2015 from Jon Stewart, sold another Bel-Air mansion for $21.5 million.

He was spotted moving into his new abode with girlfriend Minka Kelly, who he’s been linked to since August, and are seemingly planning for their future.
