Australian television presenter Scott Tweedie recently relocated to New York after landing a hosting role on the E! Network. 

And with the city being in lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic, Scott has been forced to work from home.

The 32-year-old shared his elaborate ‘home studio’ on Friday, complete with professional lights, while in his luxurious apartment.

‘WFH [working from home] ft. Wide Wendy the tree. New set up for Pop Of The Morning and E! News,’ Scott said on Instagram. 

He added: ‘Self-isolation and self-timer both working over time.’ 

He also shared a sneak peek on Instagram stories, telling fans: ‘Hey, check it. It’s the home studio.’

‘We’re doing Pop Of The Morning from in here and my fridge is over there. My view is there. Wide Wendy is there, I’ve got to water her actually. This is it, my studio.’

Scott has just completed his first week of self-isolation, after both his shows were put on hiatus last Friday.  

‘Hoping everyone stays safe and looks after themselves as much as they can in these challenging times, and keep washing those hands and continue to listen to expert advice,’ Scott told fans when they announced the hiatus.

New gig: In November, Scott announced that he was leaving Channel 10 after eight years to pursue a career overseas with E! News

In November, Scott announced that he was leaving Channel 10’s The Loop after eight years to pursue a career overseas, and had landed a gig as an E! News presenter.  

He said at the time: ‘I have been on this show for eight years, I have gone grey on The Loop, I started shaving on the Loop, but it’s time for me to get out of here.’

On December 7, his co-host Liv Phyland paid tribute to her colleague on his last day at work, telling her Instagram followers she was ‘an emotional wreck’ to see him go.

In Australia, there are 928 confirmed cases of coronavirus and seven deaths. 

There are now more than 7000 positive cases in New York state and 35 deaths. There are 4400 confirmed cases in New York City alone.
