Gordon Ramsay stunned This Morning viewers on Wednesday as he revealed his enormous shoe size. 

The chef, 54, was talking about his new show Bank Balance and how he had to tiptoe around on set because his feet are so large, he is worried the board will tip.  

Gordon told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield his feet are a staggering size 15, which prompted a flood of Tweets from viewers.

During the chat about Bank Balance, Gordon said: ‘When you can’t think of that final answer then they have to put a penalty on the board and I know that board is going to tip.

‘I’ve got size 15 feet so I’m walking around this beautiful Bank Balance set on tiptoes.

‘I’m trying not to sneeze, breathe or even just shudder in the event that the board comes crashing down. It’s quite nerve wracking.’

Following the chef’s revelation, one wrote on Twitter: ‘@GordonRamsay size 15 feet??? Seriously???’, while another fan of the show compared his to Sideshow Bob from The Simpsons: ‘Only size 15 feet I can think of is side show Bob.’

A third chimed: ‘ Size 15 feet????????? Crikey’, while a fourth viewer typed: ‘Size 15 feet. Of course you have.’

Living up to his reputation, Gordon reportedly uses the profanity, ‘s**t’, just 45 seconds into the new  BBC One programme. 

According to The Sun, the celebrated chef also drops the F-bomb, as he admits his new TV project is ‘unpredictable, volatile, and very, very unstable’.  

Bank Balance follows a competing duo who answer multiple questions for the chance to balance ‘gold bars’ on a precarious pyramid platform. 

By combining strategy and precision in a battle against the clock, they have the opportunity to win £100,000.

The show hits TV screens across the UK on Wednesday and will air, three-nights-a-week for three consecutive weeks. It will also be available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
