‘You’re dead to me!’ Jackie ‘O’ Henderson loses it as Kyle Sandilands leaves her to join NOVA FM

Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson are Australia’s biggest commercial radio duo, but it appears they could be coming to an end – at least if you ask Jackie.

On Friday, Jackie recalled how she had a dream that Kyle was leaving her behind to join their opposition, Nova FM.

‘The dream I had was you pulled the pin on the radio show. I felt really sad that we weren’t going to do the show,’ she explained.

‘And last night I had another dream about it, last night we were nearing the end of our contract you dogged me and had done a secret deal with Nova.’

Jackie said she completely lost it at Kyle, 49, in the dream.

‘I stormed over to Nova, and I said to you “What’s going on babe?” And you admitted you took all the money and there’s no room left for me,’ she explained.

‘That was it, I cut sick at everyone who was at Nova. “You’re a C”, I pointed at everyone saying, “you’re going down… You’re dead to me”.’

Laughing hysterically, Kyle assured Jackie he had no plans to go anywhere.

‘Don’t worry Darl, I don’t look good on red,’ Kyle said, referencing the colours of Nova FM’s logo. 

Last year, Kyle and Jackie celebrated two decades of working together on radio.

The pair first teamed up back in 2000, and 20 years later, they’re still going strong. 

‘You’d think after 20 years together we’d be sick of each other! But when you get to work with your best mate every day it’s not considered a job,’ Jackie told b&t magazine in November.

Jackie spoke more about her working relationship and real-life friendship with Kyle, 49, in a 60 Minutes interview back in May. 

‘He’s not a boring person, and I’m grateful for that. And, yes, he annoys me, because he says things that I wouldn’t say, but overall, he’s a really great person and I love working with him, and I find him very, very funny,’ she said.
