All eyes are on the Georgia Senate runoff races after the election on Tuesday, with Zach Braff getting out in front of the race, from an acting standpoint.
The 45-year-old actor took to Twitter on Tuesday night, pitching himself to Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels to play Georgia Democratic Senate candidate Jon Ossoff.

Another fan even took things to another level, by suggesting that not only should Braff play Ossoff, but his Scrubs co-star Donald Faison should play the other Democratic Senate candidate, Ralphael Warnock.
As of late Tuesday night, both Ossoff and Warnock were leading their races, with 97% of Georgia precincts reporting.
If Ossoff and Warnock both do in fact win their runoff elections, they will flip the United States Senate, which will be controlled by a Democratic majority.

Their wins would clearly be huge news, which would certainly be reflected on the always-topical Saturday Night Live.
However, it is not clear yet when the show will return from its holiday hiatus quite yet, or who will host the first episodes of 2021.
If Braff does return to Studio 8H to play Ossoff, it would be the first time he’s done so since his first and only hosting stint back in 2007, with musical guests Maroon 5.

He is currently filming Shriver with Michael Shannon, Kate Hudson, Peyton List and Don Johnson, which doesn’t have a release date yet.
The actor is also attached to star in Tiburon, following a young family trapped in a flood who must make some harrowing decisions.
