According to The Sun, the 23-year-old is enamoured with her Swedish-American beau, who is said to have inspired her romantic new record.

Speaking of her new album she said: ‘It’s super loved-up. I love to write about love and I love talking about love. I think I’m obsessed with it. It’s the reason we’re all alive and for me, it’s the whole point for our existence.

‘I’m the sort of person who falls in love with people in, like, four seconds. It’s just a really big part of who I am.’

And speaking to a Swedish newspaper about casting the dreamy dancer in the music video, Zara said: ‘I wanted it to feel intimate and passionate, and it came all natural because I love him.

‘We had a fantastic day of recording. It’s so nice when you know someone so well and feel safe.’

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Zara Larsson for comment.

Zara’s new romance comes after she split from her long-term boyfriend Brian in 2019 following two years of dating.

At the time a source told The Sun: ”The split has been very upsetting for both Zara and Brian but the relationship had run its course.’

Falling hard: Zara said she's the 'sort of person who falls in love with people in, like, four seconds. It’s just a really big part of who I am.’

It comes after Zara also revealed she recorded tracks with  stars like Ed Sheeran, 29, and Ariana Grande, but later decided to scrap them.

Her collaboration with Ariana, 27, was said to be a tune about anxiety, but said the ‘gang vocal’ meant you couldn’t distinctly hear the Thank U, Next star.

Detailing what the song was about, she told The Sun: ‘I don’t know if I’ll put it on the album, it’s not on there right now.’

‘It’s a really good song about not feeling your best, being anxious and wishing you were someone else sometimes.’

Despite having the opportunity to share the studio with some enviable friends, Zara ultimately decided she wanted to keep the spotlight to herself.

But Zara also offered hope for fans of ginger crooner Ed, teasing that she might release their duets in the future.
