In an interview with the Herald Sun on Tuesday, the 44-year-old Wedding Crashers actress admitted she would’ve pulled the plug on many of the film’s daring scenes.

Isla confessed she worries too much about the dangers her husband of 10 years could encounter, so he quickly learnt not to tell her.

Ignorance is bliss: Isla Fisher has admitted she prefers not to know what escapades her husband Sacha Baron Cohen gets up to when he’s playing his famous character, Borat

‘I’m lucky in that I’m not privy to the information usually until it happens, so I don’t see that he was at a gun rally until he’s home safe,’ she explained.

‘I think he’s learnt the hard way that if he gives me the information up front, that I put the kibosh on it.

‘I find out what’s happened afterwards, and that’s how I can sleep at night, otherwise I’d be too worried.’

In a post on Instagram in October, Sacha shared a behind-the-scenes video of himself performing at a Trump rally as Borat.

‘This was not the easiest movie to make,’ he captioned the terrifying video.
