Jack Quaid is set to voice Superman in a new animated series for HBO Max.
The Boys star, 29, will portray the beloved superhero in the new programme My Adventures with Superman, which will also air on Cartoon Network, Variety reported on Wednesday.

Jack’s new show will focus on the Man Of Steel and Lois Lane as they become an investigative news team alongside their best friend Jimmy Olson.
In their twenties, it will follow the trio as they learn who they are and what they can achieve together as a team.
Jack was beside himself following the news, as he took to Twitter and gushed: ‘Here’s a fun sentence I never thought I’d say: I’m Superman. So excited to be a part of this awesome show!!! (sic)’

Amy Friedman, the head of kids & family programming at Warner Bros, told Variety: ‘Superman has remained one of the most iconic and beloved superheroes in the world.
‘This fresh take from the Warner Bros. Animation team delivers a modern, relatable Clark Kent alongside a fearless, whip-smart Lois Lane who are navigating the small tasks of both becoming adults and trying to save the world.’
Meanwhile, the new Dark Knight series will see Batman: The Animated Series co-creator Timm return to the franchise since his classic, critically-acclaimed cartoon.

Batman: The Animated Series aired from 1992 to 1995 and featured Kevin Conroy as the Dark Knight and Mark Hamill as The Joker.
Sharing their delight at making the show, Timm, Abrams and Reeves said in a statement: ‘We are beyond excited to be working together to bring this character back, to tell engrossing new stories in Gotham City
‘The series will be thrilling, cinematic and evocative of Batman’s noir roots, while diving deeper into the psychology of these iconic characters. We cannot wait to share this new world.’
