Everyone remembers the iconic AAMI adverts that began in 2012 featuring star-crossed lovers Rhonda and Ketut.
And the insurance company confirmed this week that the fictional couple are ‘still together’ and ‘doing well’ despite the coronavirus pandemic.
In a Facebook exchange, which has since gone viral, an AAMI spokesperson offered a cheeky response when asked by a fan how the pair were doing.

‘Hi there so it’s 2020 and I just wanna know if Rhonda and Ketut are still together during COVID,’ the fan asked.
AAMI replied: ‘Hey there Matt, thanks for checking in on them! Rhonda and Ketut are still together and doing well.
‘Naturally, they’ve had to cancel some holiday plans but are using the time to relax at home. Stay safe!’

Actors Mandy McElhinney and Kadek Mahardika portrayed Rhonda and Ketut in the famous AAMI commercials.
Mandy, 49, is also known for her roles in television shows including Love Child and Bad Mothers.
Kadek, 34, is a family man these days. He shares two young children, Mila and Lenny, with his wife, Laura Jack.
He also has an older son, RJ, from a previous relationship.
Remember that? In the series of advertisements, viewers watch their chance meeting turn into a holiday fling with one liners like: ‘Kiss me Ketut,’ from a sunburned Rhonda, and: ‘You look so hot today, like a sunrise,’ from the Bali native

The former actor is believed to be working as a building site administrator in Melbourne, where his family is based.
Mandy and Kadek first appeared in an advert for AAMI’s safe driver insurance campaign back in 2012.
In the series of ads, Mandy met her younger lover while on holiday in Bali before they lived happily ever after.
