Abbey Clancy showed off lavish snaps from her festive family getaway to Dubai on Tuesday as she gushed over how ‘lucky’ she was to have had a ‘wonderful Christmas’.
Taking to Instagram, the model, 34, ‘disappointed’ some of her fans as she posted a collection of photos with her husband Peter Crouch, their four children and friends while much of the UK remains in Tier 4 lockdown.
Abbey revealed that the family had stayed at the five-star hotel, Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort and Spa, during their Dubai getaway.

She penned: ‘Feel so lucky to have had such a wonderful Christmas with my family and friends thank you @pamwilby13 @leroyalmeridiendubai as always you made everything so special in these strange times x.’
For one of the photos, Peter, 39, posed with their four children – Sophia, nine, Liberty, five, Johnny, two, and Jack, 18 months, at the luxury accommodation.
Other pictures showed Peter, their children and friends posing on the beach or by the hotel’s luxury swimming pool.
While a different snap saw eldest child Sophia sipping an orange juice while sitting in first class on an aeroplane.

Abbey also posted two screenshots of a text she and husband Peter received off Sophia, thanking them for the ‘best holiday ever’.
In a message to her mother, Sophia texted: ‘Thank you mum for the best holiday ever you have made me happy in all sorts of ways you are amazing and I can’t of wished any better for a perfect caring mum like you.’
To which Abbey gushed over the message with: ‘From my baby’ followed by crying emojis.
While Sophia texted her father Peter: ‘Thank you dad for the best holiday ever you make people so happy like me every day you are the best dad in the word.

‘You are my hero I love you too the moon and back with my whole heart,’ followed by a heart emoji.
Although some of Abbey’s followers were left ‘disappointed’ over the getaway as they commented on the snaps.
One person said: ‘It is so disappointing to see celebrities continue to jet off on their extravagant holidays whilst the rest of us abide by the rules and stay home to protect the NHS and the vulnerable.’

While a different account added: ‘Is it just me but if you’re a “celebrity” it’s like they don’t know a pandemic is going on. A lot of “Normal” people have struggled this Christmas and all I see are ‘celebrities’ loving life and on holiday!’
With another person saying: ‘I thought people in the UK were not suppose to travel unless urgent.’
Abbey is the latest celebrity to have jetted off to Dubai over the festive season, with reality stars including Amber Turner, Maura Higgins and Gabby Allen also visiting the popular destination in December while the UK remains in partial lockdown.
The city has been an ideal choice for many as visitors aren’t currently required to quarantine upon their return to the UK.
Many stars have insisted their trips are for ‘work’ as the government currently asks UK residents living in high-risk areas to avoid unnecessary travel.
It is not known whether Abbey’s holiday was for work purposes, MailOnline has contacted Abbey’s representative for comment.
