Take two: Adam Driver, 37, shoots retakes for his upcoming Sci-Fi thriller 65 in New Orleans where he plays an opioid addict involved in a catastrophic accident

In the Sony Sci-Fi thriller, Driver plays an opioid addict who finds himself involved in a fateful accident.

The only other survivor to emerge from the crash is a nine-year-old girl who speaks a different language, the two having to ultimately work together to survive.

The film which is from A Quiet Place writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods also stars The One and Only Ivan actress Ariana Greenblatt, 13.

Looking laidback for a long day on set, Driver rocked Adidas track pants and a Nike hoodie with a pair of black high top sneakers.

He kept his silky black locks down and flowing, sporting a kn95 mask on his face while carrying an additional black cloth mask in hand.

Adhering to New Orleans COVID-19 guidelines, all cast and crew must wear a mask while on set only removing a mask to film if they are able to maintain a six foot distance.

In a 2016 conversation with Interview magazine, Driver said that he actually likes doing retakes.

‘What I like about your sets is that we get so many chances to do it again and again. I love the idea of doing a lot of takes because there’s so many different ways that you can play scenes,’ he said speaking about his preference for versatility.

First rising to prominence on Lena Dunham’s Girls, the actor received an Oscar nomination in February for his role in Netflix’s Marriage Story and has a stacked list of projects on the horizon.

Speaking to the South China Morning Post this week he said that he only signs onto projects that he deems ‘interesting.’

‘I don’t have any plan other than to do interesting work. It doesn’t matter to me whether I work on big or small projects, and I always approach each film from the perspective of what the story has to offer.’
