Footage, captured in New Bern, North Carolina, showed the child sit in her high chair and move the savoury treat towards her mouth.
After taking her first bite of the doughy-delight, the little girl squinted her eyes and offered her best smile to her mother in approval of the dish.

During the clip, which was filmed on July 21, the little girl sits in her high chair and attempts to take a bite of the large slice as her mother watches on from behind the camera.
She then pulls the pizza away from her mouth and begins to chew on the new food item.
Within seconds, the infant breaks into a wide and squints her eyes as she shares her delight.
The child’s mother, who is filming the comical events unfold, then begins to laugh at her daughter’s reaction.

The unnamed mother later told Viral Hog: ‘We gave my daughter pizza for the first time and she loved it’.
This is not the first time a child has been left overjoyed by their first pizza experience.
