‘Feeling very much in The Matrix today… I shower when I can’t stand one more moment of laying in bed. I think about how I can help others because I feel so helpless everyday,’ she wrote.

‘I am trying to hold my family together and see the silver lining. I am trying not to loose my s*** with a broken wrist,’ she continued.

Though she may have been feeling helpless recently, Ali has been doing her part to help those affected by the pandemic.

On March 20, she posted a photo of herself wearing an N95 respirator as she worked to hand out food to families in need.

‘My heart was filled by these kids. Their excitement over their snack packs, the parent’s thankfulness for this service,’ she wrote in the caption.

The service runs Monday through Friday from 7–10 a.m., or until supplies run out, at 60 schools across LA.
