Alison Hammond ‘is being lined up for her own chat show on ITV’ as she prepares to fill in for Rylan Clark-Neal on his weekend Radio 2 show

She always delights viewers with her hilarious antics on This Morning.

And Alison Hammond is gearing up for more screen time as ITV are planning to give her a chat show.

The star, 45, has already recorded a pilot episode for her show titled Happy Hour, according to The Mirror.

She said of the series: ‘There’s exciting things coming up.’ 

Alison is also set for a busy week as she steps in to host This Morning for the first time on Friday before making her debut on Radio 2.

The TV presenter is standing in for Rylan Clark-Neal on his Saturday radio show for the next three weeks.

She said: ‘They’ve put me in charge, just me!’

‘I’ve never DJ’d in my life. I hope people like me. What if they’re like: “Where’s Rylan? Get him back!”‘

The star will be manning the decks from her home due to social distancing rules and hopes technology does not get the better of her. 

She made the exciting announcement on Twitter on Tuesday, saying she couldn’t wait to make her DJ debut.

She said: ‘I’ll be keeping Rylan’s shoes warm on @BBCRadio2 this Saturday.

‘If you fancy a little Ali love come and join us. I’ve got some fab tunes lined up to see you through.’

She has since revealed she will be discussing with listeners, saying: ‘I would love you to share your favourite cooling down methods in the heat, the holidays you had planned but it didn’t happen and your favourite inspirational quotes to lift our spirits.’
