The 26-year-old former Bachelor hopeful is set to make history as the first Indigenous and openly bisexual Bachelorette.

Speaking to news.com.au on Thursday, Brooke said she was ‘extremely ready’ to find lasting love on The Bachelorette.
‘Last year I dated quite a bit, even during COVID. I just wanted to put myself out there,’ she confessed.

After finding fame on the 2018 season of The Bachelor, Brooke enjoyed a brief relationship with Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins.
Brooke was the frontrunner to win the 33-year-old former rugby union player’s heart, before she opted to leave the show.
She later revealed that while she ‘definitely’ felt ‘chemistry’ with Nick, he’d quietly told her that he wasn’t planning on picking anyone at the end of the show, which prompted her to walk.

Despite saying she’d finally found love ‘with a beautiful, beautiful man who I cannot express how friggen lucky I am to have in my life’, Brooke announced their split one year later in February 2020.
‘I’ve been grieving a breakup and I just haven’t been able to build up the courage to speak about it online and openly just yet,’ she said in an emotionally-charged video posted to Instagram.

The reality star also shared a series of sweet photos of herself and the 26-year-old musician on her Instagram, including a photo of the massive bouquet of flowers G Flip sent her for Valentine’s Day.
‘G Flip and I are absolutely friends,’ Brooke told news.com.au on Thursday.
