Amber Heard has been spending time with her loved ones after being left ‘heartbroken’ over her mother’s death earlier this month.
The actress shared Instagram photos on Wednesday as she enjoyed a horseback ride with her girlfriend Biana Butti, before cooking up a storm in her kitchen.
Calling the desert horseback ride her ‘happy place’, Amber looked in good spirits as she enjoyed her low-key day in lockdown in California.

Amber shared a photo of herself as she rode through the stunning landscape.
Dressed in tight blue jeans and a shirt, the actress showed off her natural beauty in the snap with no scrap of makeup and loose locks as the turned to look back at the camera.
It looked as though the star’s girfriend, filmmaker Bianca, was on the horse in front of Amber.
The couple have been socially distancing together in California after first being spotted kissing in Palm Springs in January.

Later on Wednesday Amber took charge of cooking, showing off her kitchen skills in another Instagram, which she captioned: ‘The love affair with my cast iron skillet continues..’
Bianca has been helping the actress through a tough month. Two weeks ago, Amber shared the news of her mother Paige Heard’s tragic death with a series of vintage photos.
‘I am heartbroken and devastated beyond belief at the loss of my mom, Paige Heard,’ she began in the caption.
Heard added: ‘She left us too early, clasping onto the memory of her beautiful, gentle soul. She will be missed from the very depths of our hearts forever.’

‘Her unflinching, open heart made her the most beautiful woman I had ever known. It’s hard to imagine and even more difficult to say but I feel truly lucky to have been her daughter and been given the gift of having the light she shone on everyone, fall on me for nearly 34 years.
‘This has been an unbelievably painful time but in that, I am reminded of what survives us all, love,’ wrote the actress.
‘The kindness, support and generosity my sister Whit and I have received from friends and family has been utterly soul-saving.’
