Angelina Jolie is surrounded by security after enjoying dinner with daughter Zahara at Craig’s

Angelina Jolie recently spoke about the confinement many have been feeling amid coronavirus lockdown as she continues to hunker down with her six kids in Los Angeles. 

But the 45-year-old actress made an attempt at normalcy as she was spotted grabbing dinner with her eldest daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt at Craig’s in West Hollywood on Thursday.

After finishing their meal, the pair exited the celeb-friendly establishment surrounded by a barrage of security guards.

Jolie, known for her sleek style, kept her slender figure concealed beneath a belted double-breasted trench coat and a pair of flared black trousers.

Poking out from the beneath her trousers were a pair of black heeled boots.

The Maleficent star’s brunette hair was neatly parted down the middle and styled in loose waves.

Angelina, adhering to COVID-19 protocols, concealed the majority of her face behind a face mask.

The Academy Award-winner kept all of her essential belongings tucked away inside a YSL wristlet clutch. 

Jolie held on tightly to her 16-year-old daughter’s hand as they made their way from the restaurant’s entrance to their parked SUV.

Zahara, whom Angelina and estranged husband Brad Pitt adopted in 2005, kept casual for the evening out with her mother.

She rocked a crewneck sweatshirt, skinny jeans, and a pair of comfy black and white trainers.

Zahara’s lengthy brunette hair was styled in stunning variety of braids that she wore parted to one side.

Despite all of the hoopla surrounding their arrival and departure from Craig’s, the mother-daughter duo remained calm and comfortable with their security team present.

Once they got to their vehicle, Angelina and Zahara made their way inside, buckled off, and drove out of the parking lot.

The night prior, Jolie was seen enjoying a dining with fellow actress at E Baldi in Beverly Hills.

Both Angelina and Ellen, 51, wore protective face masks amid the coronavirus pandemic as they stepped out after their meal. 

The two stars appeared to be joined by some of their children for the get together and appeared in great spirits during their outdoor meal.  

Angelina has children Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and 12-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, who she shares with ex Brad Pitt.

While Ellen has Stella, 11, Sienna, six, and Eli, four, with her music producer husband Chris Ivery.

Angelina, while promoting her recently released animated feature The One and Only Ivan, opened up about how lockdown has had an undeniable affect on children.

‘There’s something about the captivity of it too that I think was sadly speaking to children and helping each other through with feeling confined,’ she told Variety of the film.

 ‘I think it spoke to kids and touched at a good time.’

She has been living with all six of her kids in her Los Feliz, California mansion which is a five minute drive from ex Brad Pitt’s mansion; he also spends time with the children but it is not clear how often. 

The stars, who wed in 2014 and split in 2016 then became officially single in 2019, are still working out a custody agreement.
