The 38-year-old sported a knee-length grey knit cardigan, layered over a blue flannel shirt and a grey v-neck t-shirt, her hair tied in a slightly disheveled loose ponytail.

She joins season two of the romantic anthology series, based on the weekly New York Times Column, featuring real love stories set in the city.

The first season consisted eight half-hour episodes, featuring Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey, Andy García, Dev Patel, Julia Garner, Ed Sheeran and more.

Season two is reportedly filming in Schenectady and Albany, with Garrett Hedlund starring in an episode and another written, directed by and starring Jesse Eisenberg, which he told The Hollywood Reporter.

In addition to her episode of Modern Love, Paquin recently joined Trace Lysette, Patricia Clarkson and Adriana Barraza in the cast of Monica, which is set to begin filming by end of year.

Directed by Andrea Pallaoro, it’s about a trans woman (Lysette) who returns home to the Midwest to care for her estranged dying mother (Clarkson).

Paquin might also return for season three of her dark comedy drama Flack, in which she stars as Robyn, a cunning publicist with a knack for getting her high-profile clients out of sticky situations.

The show was cancelled back in March, just a week before season two was set to premiere on Pop TV.

But Amazon Prime picked up the series back in June, airing the first two seasons, with the option to renew for a third.
