Elly Miles chose Frazer Neate as her winning suitor during the emotional finale of The Bachelorette on Thursday night.
But as their romantic last scene aired on TV, one bizarre detail left eagle-eyed fans scratching their heads.
Screenshots obtained by Daily Mail Australia prove that the couple weren’t following each other on Instagram as the episode went to air.

Despite this snub, the pair insisted they were still together on Friday morning in a joint video statement.
They have also since re-followed each other on Instagram.
In a video uploaded to The Bachelorette’s social media channels, Elly and Frazer said they were ‘excited’ about their future together.

‘We’re really excited for the future now that everything is out in the open and we can just get started,’ Elly said, while sitting next to Frazer.
She continued: ‘I think we’re really excited to do real life together, go on some adventures and make some memories and just get to know each other even more outside of the experience we’ve had.’
Frazer added: ‘It’ll be good for us to be out in the open… and live our life and be really happy together.’
Body language expert Holly Bartter of dating service Matchsmith analysed the pair’s body language in the footage and told Daily Mail Australia they looked ‘connected’.
‘The two are sitting very close together with arms interlinked, their physical closeness represents that they feel connected to one another,’ Ms Bartter observed.

She said the pair’s smiling faces and eye contact were signs of a real connection.
‘They are definitely smitten with each other, and seem very content and cosy – it’s a good sign for things to come for sure,’ Ms Bartter added.
Meanwhile, Elly posted a photo of herself with Frazer on social media on Friday and said she wanted to make ‘some epic memories together’.

Frazer also gushed about Elly on his own account, writing: ‘I got to meet Elly. She is such a kind and genuine person. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store.’
